@kjayhawks On his ppg, I looked at the last half of his junior season, on points scored. Regarding Releford, his PER was 17.4 for his career, 17.9 his sophomore season. Garrett is 12.3 for two season, 12.8 last season. But Garrett is a better rebounder by 1.2 per 40 min played, and .5 more on steals per 40. I couldn’t find RRob’s PER, and stats are hard to compare because RRob played point – thus assists/steals higher as a consequence. I think they all all/were excellent defenders. Good guys to compare.
@HighEliteMajor I’m worried about him specifically. When you start seeing one incident piling up after another, that’s a real big sign of a substance abuse problem. I always felt like JJ played mad, and it makes me wonder if he doesn’t have some emotional issues that are playing out with the drugs and the alcohol.
Twitter feed has a really good 0:45 thread on the winning volley - - -pretty fricken awesome - -The crowds response - - our ladies response - - WAY TO GO LADIES. - - - - -glad we have something positive going on. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
@Crimsonorblue22 Zion is more likely to need the Nike surgery for when he detonates another shoe!
Wonder if ESPN will show the surgery live on all its networks?
lol, so good.
Ok, well I hope you’re right obviously. Let’s not bank on having him.
Oh yeah, I agree. I’m very happy Dave is around. He’s as good a backup as we could ask for. Also why we need bodies in general. By my count we have 4 scholarships open:
Losses: Cunliffe, Vick, Moore, Lawson, Lawson, Grimes
Gains: McBride, Braun
I don’t feel that good about going into the season with 9 dudes.
Whether we start the season with more we always seem to end up with 8 or 9
Thanks for posting. Doke’s ability to play above the rim has a big impact on how the offense can operate. Dunks impact the game and can influence how a team responds on the other side as well. He’s the definition of an easy bucket getter. His size can defer drives to the hoops but it might also have the opposite impact as teams gameplan. You may see teams take even more perimeter shots against KU. Some games that will work for and against us.
Hopefully we hear about Silvio soon. A 4 man can thrive in this offense beside Azubuike with the right skills. TJ Holyfield is perfect for this team
Oh I agree for sure. - -We saw that against in the Villanova game. That’s a weakness for Udoka for sure , taking him out away from the basket. That within it’self is a bad spot for Udoka offensively and defensively. -I think that is a major point for him for his future in the NBA. - -The New NBA 5 is a 5 that can take it out in the open floor , and again that is not what he does - -that’s why I have my doubts about his future in the NBA.
I sure hope we hear something positive for Silvio when it’s all said and done. - -that’s another reason it would of been really sweet if we could of landed Precious - -but looking like that’s not going to happen , or as you say Holyfield. I DO think we have a pretty good shot at Holyfield - -we shall see. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Coach getting after it. - at the present but this will change you know - -BUT right now we are the # 37th ranked class in the Nation. Ahead of KSU # 42 - - -WV - -# 45 - - -Baylor # 48 - - & can of different - - Texas Tech – with only 1 - -commitment - -sitting at # 95th - kind of strange for them.
