RE: todays games all over the nation
Yeah just watched Houston close out the game & it was “bute” not only for Houston beating Wichita State “ best team in Kansas…lmao” at home on that floor but also realized that was where my Highschool graduation took place! Now feeling a bit happier knowing WSU went down on that same hardwood! Here’s to my vote for Houston & Sampson + Co. to being 1st University to join the Big 12 whenever/If ever it should happen

RE: WE ARE A BETTER TEAM WITH SVI.
But seriously Svi come on…its like he is literally sitting by the computer will a list of wings/small forwards in the draft. Just watching to see if they stay or go while he just circle or crosses their names, seeing if he can maybe squeeze into the draft. If your just squeezing in by what other do I find kinda risky, as opposed a team saying if your there mid 2nd we’ll take you type of situation

RE: As Isaiah Thomas leads Bos...the higher Mason gets drafted
@Kcmatt7 My point if it got lost was not compare the two side by side who is better one v the other but just state they have a similar as a foundation but yet are different. So my point is maybe those obvious similarities (height, grit, ability to score over bigs…(i.e. -Joel Embid)). Seeing some similar qualities in Frank at the combine/workouts yesterday & tmrw, as they are seeing what maybe someday potentially Mason could be in IT who is leading his team in the playoffs. No argument just clarifying my statement which is… “The success that IT is showing in the playoffs can only HELP not HURT Frank’s draft status at this point in time”

As Isaiah Thomas leads Bos...the higher Mason gets drafted
Just a thought that I bet many of us are thinking, but after watching the celtics play the more optimistic I feel that Frank can be a late 1st rd/high 2nd rd pick. Being that Frank and Isaiah have similar games as in the way they take contact on drives to finish at the rim, both are proven scorers, and their floor vision. But I will say Isaiah at this time is probably a better passer. Back to my point, here we have Thomas showing NBA executives what true point guard play used to be and how it can be a weapon as opposed to a crutch. I feel Frank is more of a leader though, with experiences he has indured; hardship leading to salvation, being a father, Floor General for KU, & a KU Grad as of late. He has that never quit attitude and as Isaiah is showing these executives on TV in the evening, Frank has shown last week & will show here soon at individual workouts…Even though Frank measured taller then Isaiah he will still be compared to him size-wise and with all that said hopefully they will also see enough potential & maturity in Frank Mason III to take chance on this young man! I promise that team will never regret their decision!

RE: Marcus Garrett SR Highlights
@KUSTEVE totally agree! I feel most are saying we need another impact guard with out referencing him. He has potential to be Vick 2.0 and then some, seems he might have better ball handling than Vick though. Really excited to see another guard grow in our program, just honestly wish we had some more big man journeyman lately. Really miss seeing big man development lately which I know we were all cheated this year with Dok but be nice to have another one on the line.

RE: Future 3-4yr center?
@BShark thanks! So if we don’t use our last schollie going after a 4/5 as in Tilmon, that would look as if we have little depth at the center position looking in from the outside. If that happens to be the case is there something that Bill knows that we might be missing. My first guess would be that maybe Preston has the skills to back up the 5 where Carlton failed in that regard, plus he could still add 10-15lbs with an 1" or 2" before start of the season. What are y’alls recruiting thoughts about our backup center position? Also, if we go small with our last schollie what does that say about our current back up center situation?

@bshark
Re: Future 3-4yr center? Thanks@BShark…so basically we are kinda all-in on Tilmon if we use our current remaining schollie on a center? If we don’t there must be something we don’t know that Bill does. First guess would be that Preston might present skills that would translate into being able to play the 5 where Bragg couldn’t make that happen. What might be the 2nd or 3rd…etc reason for not going after a true back up center?

Future 3-4yr center?
I just starting reading on this forum, so I now I am a little late to the party but my question is…? I might have missed it but I haven’t heard anything about Zach Brown on here? Standing 7-1. @ 260 with a ranking 90±, sounds like someone with chip to prove that usually turns into outworking and overachieving expectations type of guy. Ya’lls thoughts?
