Thank you for taking the time to peruse my account @iowajayhawk2005. As my name implies, I hawk civility. Really the only time I post is when civility has been breached. If your name is the only one that’s questioned in matters of civility, then that, my good sir, is an indictment of you.
I submit @iowajayhawk2005 has broken both variations of the only rule on this site: Don’t be a Jerk/D*ck. What say you @approxinfinity?

High above, whilst sitting on my lofty perch and scanning the horizon, I spied the words: “The Quick Yank.” I thought to myself, “Have I inadvertently landed within an uncivil site of the perverse variety… again?” I am relieved to discover the context of said yanking. Carry on.
No censoring here. Just an effort to avoid the traps other sites fall into with name calling and mean-spirited comments. But when its all said and done, you can lead a Jayhawk to civil waters but you can’t make them drink…
While sitting high on my perch, I sensed a breach in civility. I swoop in for closer inspection. Sure enough - there has been a slight disturbance in our fledgling chatroom’s etiquette.
While the thoughts posted by @iowajayhawk2005 have thoughts and ideas worthy of consideration, unfortunately the tone falls short of our standards here. Please reconsider the use of phrases such as “word vomit” to describe other posters (and your own) original thoughts and ideas. “There is no way to say this without sounding rude” - Wrong, and don’t sell yourself short! I’m sure you can voice your opinion in a civil and respectful way. In fact, I insist upon it.
That stuff is acceptable at kusports.com… but not here.
@drgnslayr Self uses lots of euphemisms…
I previously used a lot of euphemisms too on kusports.com - although most of those were anatomical. Like @nuleafjhawk , however, I too have turned over a nuleaf and for the sake of civility I have sworn off… rather quit using such expressions. Follow me, to civility!
Jesse, Who would you say is the most civil poster on kubuckets? If you’re not sure because you are new to the site, then I encourage you to base it on the posters’ names alone.

I appreciate the high-level civility being exhibited on this particular thread. The civility displayed above is unparalleled. The depth and breadth of civil-mindedness is almost breathtaking. Keep up the good work my fellow civilians!
I find the NCAA’s archaic rules re: “amateurism” to be quite uncivilized.
They will be 31-10 and play with civility.
