Ralster, I agree with you. I dont know any collective group of receivers can be this bad. I think we need to dump almost all of them.
We also need a new receviers coach. They been pretty much worthless for the past 2 years.

Folks, I finally made it here. I’m glad we were able to find this site. I’m hoping for the return of JB and Oakville.
The version I heard from someone I think would have had access to the truth, was that Harry was diddling with Busch’s wife.
I’ll always assoicate Harry with the brief stint he did with the Chicago White Sox.
We seem to be losing freedoms left and right (no pun intended). The LJW policy of forcing commenters to have FB pages can’t be justified by the reasoning they gave us.
I’m happy to be here.
This is probably a crazy suggestion, and I don’t know the it is possible under the NCAA rules. Could Hakeem Olujuwan (spelling probably wrong) be brought in to tutor Jojo? Many observers seem to think that Jojo’s play most resembles Hakeem’s style of play.
Since we’re on the cusp of the regular season, we might as well some fun with our predictions for the final record of the 2013-14 KU mens BB team. The winner will have bragging rights and the right to beat us over the head with their correct prediction.
I’m going to guess 36-5.
Like most of us, I’m very frustrated with the 2013-14 edition of the Jayhawks. Has Self finally encountered a team that refuses to listen to him?
Folks, Wiggins is going to play this way the rest of the season. Playing at 3/4 speed and not put his body at risk. We’ve seen this behavior before. Is there anything that Self can do to change this? Would benching him help?
Remain calm and carry on… to beat the s**t out of Duke.
Congratulations on the birth of you grandaughter.
@PackyWacky My wife and I have lived in Texas since 1990. We “used” to cheer for the Longhorns when they weren’t playing Kansas. That was until the behavior of the longhorn we encountered in their arena. We were repeatedly cursed at with a great many f- bombs. I’d hate to think what might have happened if KU lost!
@JRyman I’ve wondered whether or not a sign reading “(name of opponent) is a victim of Self abuse” would make it past the censors.
For reasons unknown to me, I’ve always thought that Doc Sadler looks like an insurance claims adjuster. I mean no offense to insurance claims adjusters out there, it’s just that looks like he slept in his clothes and looks confused.
I’d like to see Self start Greene over Wiggins to see if that will wake our resident Canadian. His passivity is a mystery to me. Why on Earth won’t he drive to the hoop?
Jaybate, I have a question for you. I’m not nearly as basketball savvy as many of our posters.
Could a major part of the weirdness of this team, malaise if you will accept this term, be because Andrew Wiggins is getting away with play that would normally send a freshman Jayhawk to the bench? I seem to get the vibe that he is pulling his effort right out of the Xavier Henry playbook. To me it appears that Andrew is playing at 3/4th speed, and is either bored or disconnected. I look back at the recruiting outcome for Wiggins. If Bill Self is to be believed, he didn’t even know Wiggins was committing to Kansas until Wiggins made his low key public announcement. Does that not seem odd?
If Bill Self were to bench him for an entire game, do you think it would have any lighting the competitive fire effect on Mr. Wiggins? How would the “team” respond?

I had recorded the game to watch when I got back from the Rockets game tonight. I arrived home and watched the last 5 minutes of the game live.
Was tonight’s game another one of those brain dead efforts last TCU last year, where nobody decided to be the team leader? Or, was it a game where the freshmen finally played like freshman. since we lost, I won’t bother to watch the game I recorded.
