@wrwlumpy thanks lumpy? Onward and upward!
-
Ahhh I lobe the Bay Area. Wish I was going
-
Jarrod still the Coach? - ya they are 11-1 - -but the schedule has been pretty weak. – Their Oklahoma win would I guess be their biggest & then maybe St Mary for them
-
@jayballer73 Playing Devil’s advocate, what’s KU’s biggest win? Dayton lol. We still don’t know if KU is any good, poor on court leadership led to losing to subpar Duke and Nova teams. I’m hopeful, but doubtful the glaring faults in this squad can be addressed.

I mean Dayton is a fringe top 10 team
-
@FarmerJayhawk But that’s pretty much based on taking KU to overtime. Dayton hasn’t beaten anyone either. It’s early, but it doesn’t look like KU will prove much in the non-con other than they go as far as Dotson takes them.

@dylans geez, Dylans, bah humbug?grinch! I’m sending a lump of coal your way.

They’re KenPom #12 so that implies they’re a good team no matter their schedule. I think they’re a threat to go to the Final Four

Understand , however the point being win or lose the competition is a lot harder on KU’s part. -Duke - -Villanova - - -Colorado - - Dayton - - Tennessee - -others. - - could of had Michigan St had they not screwed around. - -Where as Stanford schedule isn’t even Scheduled a big bunch of no bodies
-
@dylans oh boy, guess you don’t want to play devils advocate again? Merry Christmas!

@FarmerJayhawk Ever fill out a bracket based on KenPom rankings? Pomeroy’s rankings are really bad at predicting outcomes. Case in point- Dayton lost to Colorado.
I’ll trust my gut and unless things change KU is an elite eight team that’ll lose to a “hot” three point shooting team. Easy to get hot with so many open looks. @Crimsonandblue12 I’m just setting a more realistic goal for this team (for myself). I’m tired of expecting a championship out of flawed rosters and being disappointed. This team is decent, much better than that train wreck last season that made me apathetic towards KU b-ball, but should be ranked no higher than 10. 5 is a gift.

@dylans 22 not 12 and or not and

question is have we seen a team this year that DOESN’T have flaws? - -didn’t think so - we are right there with about 10 others teams THIS YEAR for all of it

You are correct there is no sure thing this year. KU isn’t out of it, they just are no where near the driver seat. They are way better than last season, just not championship caliber without major luck.

Most national championships in all sports almost every year.

@dylans I’d be okay with EE or obviously FF with this team. Not expecting a title at all, just don’t have the offensive capability. It’s a shame with Dotson 99.9% to leave, I think JR or SR Dotson could easily (it’s relative) win a title.
