@AsadZ I'm ok with Seattle. I used to live there. (When i was 3...) Boo New England. They suck turds.

-
How many teams are regretting giving up on Darnold?
-
@AsadZ it really shows a person how important it is to get to a good organization.
-
Sanders being named to a pro bowl after finishing with 7 touchdowns, 10 interceptions and a QBR 18.9 smh as if the pro bowl wasnât a complete joke as it was.

Occurs to me that this looks like our 3rd straight off-season where Rice's availability at season opening may be in question. Domestic assault, allegedly, and no resolution announced yet. These things affect out depth chart, FA decisions, and draft strategy. Time to bail, I think.
-
@mayjay they need to just move on from him at this point. He was looking great before his injury but between that and the off the field issues, he doesnât look the same.
-
@mayjay I agree with you. Too much drama and distraction.
-
Rice is by far KCâs best receiver. I wouldnât be so quick to cut bait.
I used to feel the same about off field issues, but they seem so common now that I look past em, mostly.
Mahomes needs somebody to throw to.
-
@rockchalkjayhawk Not being avalable for 6 games isn't being a best receiver.
-
@rockchalkjayhawk there is huge difference between driving fast and being silly in a car compared to beating the hell outta you girl friend imo. He had one big game last season and if he continues to be suspended for a number of games, itâs silly to keep him.
-
@mayjay hmmm. This reminds me of a basketball player. I don't know, I'm probably just confused
-
-
@nuleafjhawk Yep, getting injured is precisely the same as getting suspended, potentially twice.
-
@mayjay My take is not being available when your team needs you.

Nagy hired as OC by NY Giants. Does this rehab his reputation a bit? I've read so many comments on Athletic about Reid pulling the rug out from under him and ruining any chance of Nagy ever getting another coaching job. Guess the great unwashed masses not as smart as they think.
Now, it IS true that going to NYG could break him and send him to an asylum, but hopefully not.
-
The chiefs have restructured Mahomes contact to save just north of $43M of cap space.

The rumors are flying that Kelce is being targeted by Nagy and the giants on a potential one year deal. Not sure why he would do that, likely would be more money but to a team in shambles while having zero realistic shot a a playoff run. He is getting ready to marry one of the richest persons in the world. I never thought Tony Gonzales wouldâve left either or ask to be traded.

Quoted from the Atlantic, an article about a lawsuit Rice's former girlfriend filed arising from the alleged abuse she previously publicized:
*The lawsuit alleges that Rice and Jones previously lived together at homes in the Victory Park area of Dallas and Leeâs Summit, Mo. In the suit, Jones says that Rice strangled her during a December 2023 incident in Victory Park. The lawsuit also alleges that between 2023 and 2025, Rice âgrabbed, choked, strangled, pushed, thrown, scratched, hit and headbutted Ms. Jones, as well as hit her with inanimate objects.â
Jones also says in her lawsuit that Rice engaged in other violent behaviors, including âthrowing objects, destroying property, punching walls, and breaking furniture, as well as locking her out in the middle of the night.â The lawsuit alleges that many of those incidents took place while Jones was pregnant.*

@mayjay interesting timing with him announcing his new GF recently. If found guilty they have to move on from him IMO. People are talking about Hill returning as well and I want no part of it. Maybe instead of putting end racism and it takes all of us in the back of the end zones and helmets they can put âI wonât beat the hell outta my significant otherâ

Additional info in this quote from NBC's site Pro Football Talk (not the podcast):
"The situation also potentially impacts Riceâs probation resulting from the street-racing incident. The agreement was announced in July; if any potential abuse occurred after the five-year period of probation commenced, he could face an argument that he violated the terms of his probation."
