Texas Tech guard Robert Turner has just slashed into the lane, and the ball goes in the basket again. On the sideline, Bill Self looks toward the bench and mutters to anyone who will listen: “We can’t guard anybody.”

The first-place Jayhawks, who possess an 11-2 record in league play, take on second-place Texas, which at 9-4 is a full two games back with five remaining.
