JO JO WHITE ENTERS THE HALL OF FAME TONIGHT.

I became a Jayhawk fan because of this man. An exceptional leader of men in College and in the NBA. Congrats!

@wrwlumpy great pics! I thought I saw him at a game last year, never knew for sure. Love to get his autograph.

There are many good statues. But if you have seen the David, afterwards you don’t know any more about sculpture than you did before, but you know you have seen an intimation of perfection in stone.
There are many good 2 guards. But if you have seen the Jo Jo, afterwards you don’t know any more about how to play the 2 than before, but you know you have seen an intimation of perfection in sneakers.
After all these years, it is still hard to believe he existed.

My only memory of him was finishing his career with the Bulls for a season or so. Great to see another Jayhawk enshrined though.
I saw the name George Raveling on the list of inductees. I heard something interesting about him. In 1963 he was involved in the Civil Rights movement as a young man. He was at the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. Somehow, and I forget the exact details, he ended up with the handwritten copy of MLK’s speech and kept it til this day.
