He came into the league at a good time. The league is down this year. He only had to play Wisconsin at home which he handled well of course. As a Badger fan I sure don’t mind him getting this award.
Does anyone know if the story about Turgeon is true? I’ve heard that as a freshman at KU he went into Browns office and told him he was the best point guard on campus. Brown had never heard of him, but gave him a chance and the rest is history.
