That was a bit of a shocker. As a Bay Area guy, the talk of the town was how the Rams would maul the 49ers’ injured OL. Maybe the same result will come true for the Chiefs and their injured OL.

Holy smokes it looks like Marshall and Mahomes maybe related but nice to see Walker running the ball effectively.

Man if the chiefs can run the ball like this and they get Mahomes and his receivers on the same page. Watch out, still super worried about the WR corps. They still can’t get any separation against a man defense. Other than that a really impressive game by the boys in red. The defense was amazing on 3rd down and creating turnovers.

Ha, confidence is a good thing! This was a nice performance tonight, but there were flaws and injuries to consider. Bienemy will keep em in line!
No complaints at all tonight, but worried about Delane of course. Shoulder's been hurt since camp. I don't see how that gets better in a week.

Delane was a full participant in practice today. That is great news! I know its a small sample size but man he looked good in his three snaps. Most interceptions seem to be a result of a bad throw by a QB or a DB cleverly giving up a small cushion and then springing forward to jump the route. But Delane's INT was a result of him just sticking to the WR with incredible fluidity. Very impressive and I hope to see him healthy soon and providing more coverage like that.

I still think they need a WR via trade or FA, I keep hearing Tyreek is in the fold and could be ready by the end of next month. But he has had off the field issues and is coming off a major injury. I still just don’t see a whole lot of separation on routes. This group was rated 29th in the NFL last season in open rate against man coverage. It looks like much if the same to start. Maybe it changes when teams try to key on Walker idk. I just like it’s not only the weakest spot in the roster but one the of, if not the weakest in the NFL. There isn’t a DC in the NFL worrying about trying to cover these guys.

The chiefs offense looks back to the way it was 2022 and prior. The problem is the defense tonight also looked like chiefs from 2018-22 which pretty much score 30 plus or lose. Nice to see Thorton actually catching the deep balls, last season he dropped most of them. Worthy continues to be a drop machine. How about Travis Kelce? Dude looks like Kelce from 5 years ago. The offense is fun to watch again and they look they are having fun again. The last two years they looked like the Ben Aflleck smoking meme lol.

That was the most intense football game I've seen for a while. The offense was great. The defense struggled, but the Colts had a great gameplan. Hopefully the defense looks more like it did against Denver in their next game

@Jayhawk_69 ya it’s early in the season don’t want to be playing their best this early. I just feel like the team is having fun again. Which makes it funner to watch.
