@Jayhawk_69 Yeah, I just saw that. Taken by the 49ers, who seem very happy with Puni whom they drafted 2 years ago from KU. Cruz at #179 was taken 79 spots sooner than his ESPN everall rank of 258. Henderson was 75 spots sooner than his ESPN rank. But in The Beast on Athletic, Henderson jumped up 100 spots from Dane's #299 assessment. (That writeup was pretty brutal....)

The Big 12 as a whole (sans Tech obviously) is way down on talent compared to the top 2 leagues. It’s their world, we’re just playing in it.

@nuleafjhawk Kansas didn’t have a player drafted last season for I believe only the second time under Self. I believe the first time was 2009 when everyone came back. DP is likely the only pick and most have him dropping down to 4-7 in the latest mock drafts. I feel like if you don’t have at least two maybe 3 first round guys, you ain’t getting to the Natty. Sadly next season will be the same Kohl is still likely a year away from the NBA and I don’t see anyone else we have on the current roster getting picked. If we get Stokes it will be only him. Sad to say but no chance Kansas wins anything in BB next season.

@kjayhawks2.0 they have to get Stokes. Blyden is also a pro. TK is a pro but young. Dawes probably a foreign league guy. Unlikely to win a title but can be pretty good. Really hinges on Stokes
