Big 12 expansion rumors - - part 2

Been seeing A LOT of rumor off multiple boards about expansion for Big 12. Read off Texas Tech - - - Baylor - - Arizona - - & others. -Jason Scheer who covers Arizona sports reported that Arizona turned down a 27 million dollar offer by the conference & saying Colorado is expecting the same offer - un equal distribution going on in the PAC 12.
Rumors abound that Arizona & Colorado will accept Big 12 invite within the next 30-45 days .Also seen quite an interview with Mike Gundy talking about our new Commish and talking about how impressed he was with him & Gundy saying we haven’t heard much in the last month about the expansion/ things quiet - - -And he says that means things going on.
I didn’t realize we had offered invittes to those Schools , but who really knows what’s going on behind the scenes

Doubt it, regarding Arizona especially. They’ll bleed that Phoenix #11 tv market into a better situation than the big 12. Denver is top 20 market too, so they can basically pick where they go (would fit in the B1G)
I know the south hangs on to their own and nostalgia, but why isn’t the SEC dumping their crap market teams at this point?

There is NO WAY the BIG would ever invite Colorado - -their value is not even close to what the BIG is looking for , a lot more the TV revenue a lot of criteria that they don’t meet - -Academics - - AAU status - - multiple things they do not meet – that will never happen. As far a Arizona goes they have been talking about wanting to leave the PAC 12 to join the Big 12 for quite some time and soon. They are not happy at all with the PAC 12 & now the un-equal shares they have been offered. - When it’s all said and done Arizona will not be a member of the PAC 12

Could be huge possibly for the Big 12 and possible expansion with them starting talks with FOX & ESPN. - -with them opening up and they can get projected numbers or better idea of what each team would be receivng. - The PAC 12 had been using that as an edge over the BIG 12 , I think the PAC 12 is toast actually

Well just more that the BIG still not done taking PAC 12 teams, Washington now in prelim talks with the BIG to see compatabiity. BIG 10 Commish wasn’t there , this was with Lawyers and such just opening talks.
PAC 12 is toast. - - when there is that much smoke- -there is for sure fire. Sic-em 365 sports talk has had several different people on , former CEO of Fox sports was on I can’t name them all and the main thought is that yes the 4 corner Schools will be members of the Big 12 when it’s all said and done. - -With the Big 12 now in what they called accelerated talks , the thought is that what our commish name ? - Yomark ? the thought is that the BIG 12 is wanting to get projected numbers that they can give to members of the BIG 12 to let them see what w be getting before any schools think about leaving - - and being able to give these numbers out to potential expansion members would have projected what their numbers would be

Well our new commish was in our future team Cincinnati today and said he was looking to expand from teams to the West , saying was looking to get in to all time zones , looking for teams that are established in Football and Basketball both .Still think in the end Arizona & Utah are almost sure things to join - -not sure if wwe take Colorado &Arizona State or not. - Have been hearing quite a bit about San Diego State too. Time will tell
