Like no other team in my recent memory, this is truly a ‘backs against a wall’ group. It storms from behind, it gives up huge leads, it suffers through injury and roster reduction BUT somehow this group bats 1000 when it matters. Today it matters.

KU wore 2008 throwbacks and since KU wore blue in that 2008 title game, that’s why they wore blue on Saturday. Also, home teams are allowed to choose which color uniform they wear.
