The Rams have a clear plan and are sticking to it. The Eagles had a clear plan last year and stuck to it. The Patriots and Steelers always have a plan and stick to it. The question is, do the Chiefs have a clear plan, or are they just making moves? It doesn’t hurt you to be aggressive at the corner spot in today’s NFL. Since you can’t get physical downfield, gambling is better than just letting the better QBs (Rogers, Brady, Roethlisberger, etc) just pick you apart a piece at a time. Maybe you give up some plays, but if you get two picks that your offense turns into points, you still win. You can’t just hope for three and outs. You have to be able to either pressure the QB and get sacks, or force turnovers with aggressive DB play. The Rams have chosen aggressive DB play. The Eagles are going for QB pressure. I don’t know which one will work, but I am curious to find out.
