Getting a bit chippy here-let's catch our breaths shall we?

XTReme Radical Trey Ball advocacy.
THE DRAKE GROUP will love it.
It helps restore “academic integrity to collegiate sports” by making the game more determined by non stack players.
How’s that for “de-chip-ification?”
By the way, what chippiness were you referring to?
I hadn’t noticed any.

A few threads this week, three I think got my attention. Maybe it is feared bBall withdrawal as the NBA finals are upon us. Anyway it seemed to me some folks were getting on each other’s nerves.
But I’m just an old fart with two teenagers living under my roof. It may be my imagination.

@JayhawkRock78 You sound like the voice of reason. WTF dude.
… (thank you)

Well, its always okay to weigh in an ask for civility. Nothing wrong with that.
I haven’t been participating much lately so I couldn’t address the last week or so.
Now, regarding your live-ins: enroll one at New Mexico State University and get him/her in the radio engineering (RA), or something like that, BS degree program. The school is affordable. The program trains engineers that go to work in the near space and deep space communications network infrastructures operated by NASA, US Space Command and their contractors. All of their kids get good jobs immediately.
Enroll the second one in U of Tulsa’s cyber spy BS program. All their kids get good jobs immediately.
Live-in problem solved.
Rock Chalk!

@JayhawkRock78 Yeah, I tend to agree that some guys seem to be disagreeing a little more than in the past but maybe we should expect an increase of those emotions as the buckets board increases in size & diversity. All that said, I personally am not one to be known for political correctness by most accounts. But then again some people are extremely passionate about many things KU & some are more sentimental & post with a slightly different resonance. When one essentially told me I was stupid a couple of weeks ago I just told him to butt out because it was pretty obvious he was injecting political opinion in a thread about a flipping dog that he was not even involved in. I guess what it boils down to is some people have something to say & some people just have to say something. These guys know who they are, they’re narcisstic & vain more often than not. That can also come across as cocky & conceited & I’m always wondering … Where’s @CivilHawk !!! When I see a pattern of distressing or poignant comments from a rat, I simply try to avoid even getting involved in that particular thread, though I do read them to get a better understanding of who & what to avoid going forward. This is a great site for those who respect it, but unfortunately we have a troll or two & truthfully, we’re fortunate we don’t have a whole lot more. Mainly the reason I’m even posting on this thread it to get it back on the recent post list so guys may think about something a little more before they speak & step on some toes. Thanks for putting it out here to begin with. As for teenagers, I sure hope adolescence goes much more smoothly in your place than it did in ours. At time I wonder how I survived.
As always JMO.

Thanks for posting this. I don’t have much credit on here so I havent said anything…but more and more posts are feeling like the comments section of that other site.
But easy enough to avoid and still mostly great content.

@CaptnMo When posts here become as low as the “other site” then whale $h?tz will look like shooting stars…

@Crimsonorblue22 Why, thank you my dear. I must admit oft times there is a genuine effort put forth to do so … but only in a manner that seems appropriate to the moment. JK
