2019 summer league

For all you kids that don’t stay up and enjoy the summer league as much as I do…Here’s a snippet of how our beloved Jayhawks did (as always…Once a Jayhawk…always a Jayhawk):
7/1/19:
Dedric didn’t play
Frank didn’t play
TRob: 15min 8pts 2/3field 0/1 3’s, 4/6 FT 3 reb +3 +/-
Malik hustled offensively…constantly beat defensively: 16min 16pts, 7/11field, 2/5 3’s, 0/1FT, 1 board -16 +/- (his +/- wasn’t all on him however. Cleveland is terrible.)
Frankamp didn’t play
I’m aware that this is a stretch for Jayhawk inclusion…but… Milton Doyle played 12 min 2pts 0/2 field, 0/0 3’s, 2/2 FT -2 +/-

@bmensch1 they sure talked a lot about Doyle’s nice passes. I also thought Trob didn’t get up and down the floor well. He wasn’t in during crunch time.

@Crimsonorblue22 Unfortunately…even though Trob is still young (at least in my book)…I don’t think he has it in him anymore to get around like I’m used to seeing him. It’s been 7 years since his glory days and that’s how I ALWAYS picture him. He is a lot slower than he was merely just a couple of years ago.
Doyle does have the passing down…but unfortunately that’s all the kid has.
The 1 person I really wanted to see last night was Dedric…but instead, all I could watch was Swanigan and remember the wonderful time of Frank and Devonte easily destroy Purdue in the Sweet 16.

@Crimsonorblue22 Swaggy is big time large and in charge. Dude was too fat in high school…lost all of weight and turned into a player of the year if Frank Mason didn’t ball out…and now going back to playing the part of Fat Man. He reminds me a Renardo Sidney. Tons of talent if he could stay away from McDonald’s.

I just saw Dedric might have some sort of injury that kept him out.
Also Dean Wade looked really good for Cleveland last night in the parts I saw. I was very surprised / impressed.
