Doke Manning Up And Playing Through the Pain

This deserves its own thread. TOUGH kid.

He certainly did. Can you imagine Doke and Delgado on the same team? We might have it next season with Doke and Dedric.

I think Dedric is more skilled than Delgado a little but but similar athleticism. Meaning neither is super great athletically but they are good players and rebound hard.

I just hope Doka comes back for another season.

You could definitely tell Doke couldn’t move as well as he normally does but we needed every minute that he was able to go. Im hopeful he will be close to a 100% next week, as much we like Mitch he was so soft on the glass. Everytime he got a rebound the place went nuts.

The team was way better with Dok in. Hope he’s available 30 minutes per game going forward.

He seemed to move around pretty well, but he was wearing a big ugly strap on his knee. I did not see him limping, but he was not getting up and down the floor nearly as fast. Has anyone read anything to indicate that he will need surgery, or are they sticking with the knee strain story?

His handlers wouldn’t let him play if it was something more sinister.

why does Self continue to struggle so mightily against the match up zone?
how does a player who excels at staying out of foul trouble get 3 quick fouls
