Problem with theSite???

  • I am trying to access the thread “KU 2014 summer camp videos” and once it gets to post 34 (post from Ict) it stops and displays a message “loading more posts” with a moving icon but it does not get past that message; I know there are post after that, including one of mine. If I go to my information page, I can see my post, but when I click it, it brings me back to the thread and the same issue. I have tried it on 3 different computers/tablets and 2 browsers with the same result. Any one else having this issue?

  • @JayHawkFanToo same here, got to post 21 out of 34

  • Same here. I got a notification that Jaybate had mentioned me in his reply on that thread, but my post continues to be the last one shown.

  • @icthawkfan316

Oh, Oh, I think Jaybate finally used up all the bandwidth 🙂

    Just kidding Jaybate…

  • This post is deleted!

  • Something is definitely funky. Power cycle didn’t fix it on that thread. I think it may be specific to that thread though.

  • If problems persist on other threads and you can’t respond here, please email me at approxinfinity@gmail.com so I can know. If there isn’t a resolution, I’m considering that it might be the right time to get the new version of nodebb, and install a fresh up to date copy of the board.

  • @approxinfinity thanks, you are soooo appreciated!

  • What I see is the normal “up in the corner message” … ‘1 out of 38’, ‘2 out of 38’, etc. up to and including ‘30 out of 38’ and THEN it JUMPS to ‘38 out of 38’ (skipping all the posts in between).

  • @approxinfinity

I still have the same problems; I know there are many posts after the last one showing. I can see one I posted if I go to my own page but on the thread page it does not display, only the “loading more posts” message with the spinning arrows which appears to indicate is trying to load more posts but it cannot find them; likely a corrupted pointer/index for that thread in the database.

Also, there have been almost no posts in the last day, which is highly unusual. Maybe some member cannot even get into the site??? On the other hand, if the board is that slow, maybe this could be a good time for the update.

Thanks for all the work you do.
