Embiid on Trolling

  • Conspicuous absense of mention of Self, or KU, for such a loooooong story.

He is now the player I thought he could be from the first feed of him I saw of him in high school. He is far and away the greatest post talent since Wilt and Jabbar.

He is right there without a doubt. - -Jo Jo’s biggest challenge is being able to stay healthy - -besides that - - look out. Him and Simmons make a really sweet tandum - just need maybe one more talented guy, kind of surprised they are having better success this season - but they are coming the NBA better beware. - - - There is a new monster on the not so distant horizon. - - -it’s called - - - -EMBIID give them hell Jo Jo – -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • So when is Embiid’s contract up? I want to see him on a good team. Embiid on the Cavs would be amazing. Embiid with the Warriors would be unfair. Embiid in Boston would make them a legit contender.

  • @jaybate-1.0 did you know embiid’s sister goes to KU?

  • @dylans

The Sixers are slowly building a very good team. Embiid juts got a $140M+ contract so he will be in Philly for the next 5 years, barring trade, and by then LeBron will probably be retired.

They aren’t that far away and the NBA better be ready. - -If he went somewhere else of the 3 you mentioned Boston is the only place I would want to see him. - -It would really take ALOT for me to have to start cheering for the Warriors & Cleveland -AIN’T NO WAY- - ever never - -can’t stand James - -great player - just don’t like him lol. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @Crimsonorblue22 Can she help us out in the middle?

  • @jayballer54 I don’t really care much for any NBA, but I want to see Embiid on a contender. I don’t know that Philly will be able to overcome being Philly.

Ya I understand what your saying. - -I’m the same way I really don’t get into the NBA much or at least until the playoffs. - But with the recent up swing of former Ku players, try to keep a little closer attention.

I don’t know - -I think Philly is right there - right on the cusp, like I said before Jo Jo’s biggest challenge for a really good NBA Career is going to be his health. - -He has got to stay healthy I think they will be fine. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @dylans

    …and a Jayhawk shall lead them…

Chamberlain got the Sixers their first Championship and Embiid will get them another.

  • Fultz is supposed to be really good too. But like embiid and Simmons before him he’s hurt and will miss the season I think. Sixers could be on the biggest stage soon.

  • Jo Jo getting ready to roll tonight guys. - -6:00 ESPN against the Thunder, think I might just watch some. - -ROCK CHALK ALL ADY LONG BABY

  • @approxinfinity Yeah, great story on JoJo! He is such a funny personality off the court and loves trash talking on the court. He is such a big teddy bear off the court and a stone cold killer on it.

If Jo can stay healthy for the next few years, he will be widely regarded as the best big man for who knows how long? Its so great to see Joel doing so well. #JayhawkPride for real

    That is GREAT news!!!

I will take that to mean we still have a warm spot in his heart the way he has a warm spot in our hearts.

    Rock Chalk!

  • Oh what a game last night, glad I watch. Ya Jo Jo lost this one, but man what an entertaining game playing the Thunder.

Jo Jo has developed some bark - kind of nasty. Philly lost in triple over time last night against the Thunder but still what a great game. Like they said on sports Center felt like a big playoff game. 119-117 triple overtime.

Jo, Jo and Westbrook exchanging some pleasantries - no harm - -no foul but Jo. Jo giving as well as taking. 1st time in his career he has played this much. - -49 minutes for the game. he was clutch won the end Philly knew who they needed to feed. - -34 points - - 8 rebounds - -6 assists - - 2 blocks - but did have 7 turnovers STILL mercy I loved watching - the guy is a BEAST, has developed some attitude lol. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @jayballer54 First NBA game I’ve watched this year and it was a good one!

  • Ya boy I thought Joel got in Melo and Russ’s head there for a bit. They had their chances and it was a great comeback to send it in to OT. This Philly team may not get to the Playoffs this year but if these young guys continue to grow they could be a force in the east in a few years, especially if Lebron heads to the West Coast.

  • @kjayhawks Was listening to Stephan A, they asked him what he thought about the game last night. He Said that Jo, Jo ( THE PROCESS ) love that, but he said he was putting the NBA on notice - - that he Is coming, saying Jo Jo was un apologetic but it’s ok, he said just letting the league know you better be ready. Love it when a guy plays with a little bit of an edge - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • I watched much of that 76er/Thunder game. Made me shudder, the obvious body discomfort which JoJo is experiencing. They say he can barely practice most weeks, and spends hours on the massage table. Yet he plays like a behemoth. Remarkable talent for a guy who has spent so little time on the practice and game court since he picked up a basketball. The Kansas connection makes of him a real joy to watch. Not much of an NBA fan or follower, I always try to tune in to 76er contests. Simmons, too, is an extraordinary young talent.
