Frankamp makes the most sense to redshirt this year. Bill Self has said this summer that if we needed it Selden or even Wiggins could help bring the ball up the floor. So it doesn’t seem that pressing to have a 3rd point guard wasting a year on the bench just in case. But honestly I wouldn’t have a problem with both Greene and Frankamp red shirting, it’s helped so many other players for us in the past.

Personally, I like this move a lot. This is a really big game (as far as November games go) and I want our best player taking it very seriously.

Yeah this is def. a major effect from the rules changes. I’m not sure if the refs went overboard (because they have to adjust to calling these plays now too) or not but the fact that this is getting leaked makes me worry that other refs across the country will see this and go whistle crazy the first month of the season. The NCAA does not want stuff like this getting leaked from a private scrimmage, but it’s going to be a tough transition for everyone I think.
