This was pretty awesome. Keith was by far the best! I kind of read this as an apology from ESPN. Hey sorry we put you to a standard that no one else could every live up to, here are some comments from us just telling you try hard, have fun, be a kid, and remember your time at KU.

RE: KU Sports - Nov 11: Duke Preview
Okay so a few things that make me feel a lot better about this game.
Perusing the stats you see that Davidson’s PF put up 24 points, come on PERRY!
Duke only had 3 offensive rebounds, while they didn’t have a ton of opportunities since they shot 70% Davidson picked up 18 defensive rebounds. Overall Davidson out rebounded Duke 31-27.
Davidson’s defense was horrendous, apparently no one decided that it was a good idea to guard Parker close when he is 15 feet and further away from the basket.
While shooting 70% from the field Duke only shot 68% from the line.
Besides Rasheed Sulaimon (who played 25 minutes), Duke had 10 points off the bench. Compared to our 33

RE: KU Sports -- Stories on KU vs Fort Hays State.
@Crimsonorblue22 I did notice that, although I wasn’t surprised. Against Pitt St he had a few minutes with the starters and had 2 bad turnovers and a pretty bad foul, before being pulled.

RE: KU Sports -- Stories on KU vs Fort Hays State.
Saw some good things, saw some bad things.
Again Perry is the rock of this team!
So impressed by Mason, this guy is going to be soo good in the next few years.
White and Greene look ready to contribute big numbers from the bench.
Good to see Selden but the ball in the hoop and drive. His confidence should continue to sky rocket with good performances.
I cannot wait until Embiid can settle down a bit on defense, and is game ready. This guy can score with the right, the left, with a turn around jumper. Damn that is nice to watch.
I have to agree with everyone, Looks like Traylor is stepping up to challenge Black.
And the guy everyone is talking about Wiggins. First half was abysmal, second half was decent. His on ball defense continues to impress, but he seems to get lost a bit with off ball defense (although his athleticism allows him to recover). If i had to guess he is really struggling with how to prepare for these games. Game 1 he is obviously nervous, Game 2 he is obviously apathetic. I think he was trying to relax and chill out for this one, let it come to him. But in the end he was too chill and seemed lackadaisical.
As far as the redshirt, if anyone will it will be Frankamp. But remember a redshirt can be taken away at any point in the season.

RE: Wiggins Hype is Crazy!
Pretty cool look at Freshman classes and their impact. Makes me excited and nervous about this team! I do think we are looking at a different level in freshman then in KUs recent history.
One thing I really got from this is that we haven’t had many game ready Freshman, besides a few different guys. It would have been interesting to see what Self did if there were a couple more veterans on this team.

RE: KU Sports - Oct 29: Matt Tait's Postgame Analysis
Couple things I thought during the game:
- @FarSideHawk is definitely right about Wiggins’ nerves, he seemed very timid in the first half. But I think in order to get him really going we are going to have to run the offense through him more, at least get him a touch each possession.
- Rebouding and Defense are a concern. HEM was right when he was concerned about our rebounding. Although Black picked it up in the second half, rebounding against a bigger and more skilled team is going to be hard. I think if a big like Lucas or Traylor can establish himself has a rebounder the minutes will sky rocket. The defense needs to get better obviously, there were spurts where we looked good, but 85% of it was sloppy and slow. No way a D2 team should get to the basket that easily.
- Embiid has a long way to go, but watch out when he gets there. Man that is an athletic big!
- Selden may have been the most nervous, I think AWIII and Brannen Greene may be challenging him for minutes right now. Both of them looked confident with the ball and ready to score.
- Perry is going to be awesome! I see him as the rock and foundation of this team.
- Most impressive thing I saw was the flashes of absolute shut down defense from Wiggins. I think it was one of the last plays he was on the court he challenged Branch right at half court and showed how truly athletic and quick his feet are.
I am excited and worried at the same time. Huge strides need to be taken in order to be ready for Nov 12

RE: KC Star article on Joel Embiid
I really hope Jojo stays 2 years. I know that he has tons of potential and could probably go to the draft this year, but this kinda player would really benefit from another year of learning. It does kind of make me miss Danny a bit though
