Myles Turner, you are one lucky man! You came to the right Jayhawk game to experience.
Even though we captured our 10th straight Big 12 regular season championship, this has not been a typical Jayhawk season. We are one of the youngest teams in the nation, and with that youth comes the need to educate; to learn what college basketball is all about, and further, to learn what Jayhawk basketball is all about.
Last night was the product of a young team coming to the realization of what it is like to be a Jayhawk. The fans have been there all year, through thick and thin. But the relentless, faithful support provided by our fans is not totally appreciated until our seniors realize it is their last opportunity to bask in the garden we call AFH.
Last night was an example of what all that positive energy can generate; inspired performances mastering execution; players floating in the air like a cloud while carrying heavy hearts fulfilled perhaps for the first time in their lives.
Myles Turner, you are one lucky man!
The door of opportunity has cracked open for you. The clutter of other school offers have now been pushed aside, and the path to becoming a Jayhawk is right before your eyes!
Will you realize the exceptional experience last night was not just a dream? It can be your reality, too!
