I'm thinking Bill or family will untie Darryn at the next home game which will be after Mizzou at a neutral site and on the road at NCSU. At that time we might be 8-3 or 6-5. It could be about a 20 win season which is where KenPom had us last time I checked. We might go 9-6 in conference or less if we drop a couple of home court games. I was thinking this team had found an identity after Vegas but looking back a repeatable scoring offense is missing. Hurley adjusted and sent guards and all to the boards and turned Mullin loose and we never adjusted back and failed to answer.

I just want to remind everyone that the story was that the injury came during warmups.
If so, trainers need to be a bit more engaged.
I mean, if you calculate the time lost during these games in terms of DPs NIL$, it's probably not far from the salary of a trainer.

I'm trying to remember DP on the court and my memory says he made scoring look easy. He looked kind of serious and focused plus quick and fluid. Alright Darryn we will try and not get too pumped. Come on Sunday noon.

The 2026 draft class is way stronger than 2011 or 2019. Kyrie was the only hyped player coming out in 2011 and Garland probably could've been the 2nd pick behind Zion without his meniscus injury at Vandy.
You don't many projected draft classes that hyped as competition to 1984, 1996, and 2003 and 2026 is because it has 3 face of the NBA level prospects in Peterson, Dybansta, and Boozer along with several others projected to be potential all star level players.
I've been saying from when his injury happened that this isn't the year to load manage because of how deep this class is. Peterson sitting out doesn't line up with any previous reports about his work ethic and drive. There's a reason why 12 year NBA vet CJ McCollum is on record saying Peterson was NBA ready last season.
