I miss the alert that lets me know how many threads have updates since I was last here. The little red dot with a number used to show up on the categories icon at the top left.

@bskeet hm they did fiddle with the bell note badge a little. I think it still shows in the menu but not on the top bar in mobile form factor? Maybe thats something i can tweak.

@bskeet so the red dot is on the burger menu top left (at least on mobile) and when you expand the nav drawer the red badge is on the unread item, at least for me. Is this equivalent?

I just bumped the post text size up a bit to what it was on the old board. Hopefully a little easier on the eyes

Might be a little clunky being this big. Now stuff seems to bleed off screen. I think we can configure font size ourselves either in settings or devicd settings so i think i will ditch the override

I don't see it, but I only use a desktop computer. I also miss the little red dot, but I'm just going to "Recent" to see what's new.

I'm on a desktop as well, FWIW. (still don't see any red dot on the hamburger menu)

@FormerlyStlJhawk haha. I love that quote. Thanks for informing me about the privileged message. I think that may help me crack the code for other people too. If you guys can give me some time to get everything tidied up and comfortable I promise I will but first and foremost I just want everyone back. The board is stable, its just a matter of getting the data straightened out now.

For those rolling with new accounts I can help get your old ones back if you want me to.

@approxinfinity I assume that is a GIF ? I've tried using some and get a message that says "can't enter this content here". It's not a big deal, but thought I'd use that feature occasionally if I could. Thank you.

@formerlystljhawk can you try your old account again? I think the issue was that some of the emails were never verified on old board and the email recovery considers non verified emails unprivileged. I forced it to be verified for you now. If that works i can find all the other accounts i know are legit and force verify them

@nuleafjhawk hmm good to know. Yeah its a gif. I had to resize it down. Ill see whether its restricted for others. You could send me the file in email and i coipd try too

Alright, I poked around and tried to respond to everyone trying to recover their original accounts that got stuck. Please continue to email me if you guys have problems. I know there are coupe people (crimson, kjayhawks, slimshady) that are using new accounts that I havent addressed. That's because y'all are being chill about it, but I haven't forgotten. I can circle back and get you straight when the dust settles if thats ok. thanks guys.

Update.. I'm currently going through all the regulars that have logged in in the last couple months and force validating their emails if they have an email account. This should now allow them to password reset with their emails. Here is a list of the people I couldnt because of some duplicate emails. I'll ahve to sort these out individually...
