@drgnslayr ok i changed permissions to allow image upload for all users, should work now, hopefully, unless theres also a size restriction. @rockchalkintexas-0
-
I'm trying to upload an image from my computer but I keep getting errors. First size. Then I saved it smaller and now I get "request entity too large"
-

-
Ok.. Just had to get the size under 1MB.
This was AFH Monday morning. My son took this while he was camping for the game. (That's not him in the photo.. not sure who it is..)
They have a Wii set up and were playing while they waited. After practice, the players came by and wanted to play but they had just shut down the game.

@RockChalkinTexas-0 that brings back memories! I used to work security for fun at Hoch auditorium. I’m a big reggae fan and was stoked to see that Bob Marley show… but I had a big test the next morning. I figured I’d just see him next year as Lawrence had a great reggae rep due to KJHK and my friend Curtis who did the reggae show there. I was so bummed that Bob passed not long after that show. I have a funny story about the Black Uhuru show at the opera house later that year tho.

@FormerlyStlJhawk One of my 4 brothers lived on a farm outside of LFK and had a roommate (Neil Leff) who promoted and managed the all white reggae band from Lawrence named Pat's Blue Riddim Band (PBR) and was instrumental in bringing Bob because of PBR and its popularity and they were opening group. This is why I was in the guest box up in the balcony with Mike. They had a couple albums out and were the only all white reggae band to ever play Sunsplash in Jamaica. Funny story is that Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer
🤮 sued PBR for name infringement so they just became Blue Riddim Band after. The drummer's name was Duck.

@RockChalkinTexas-0 beautiful!

AFH should be rocking tonight. Newly confident team with a healthy DP, makes us a real contender to win this game. Let’s hope the guys remember what won us the Tenn. game: suffocating D, rebounds, and touching paint on offense. We do those 3 things, and let the rest of the game come, we’ll be good.
-
@creasybear We have several guys playing at their current max capacity. Theres room for growth across the board but a regression might happen, especially when we reintegrate DP. We definitely could use the fans engaged tonight and get the boys in a groove.

Definitely expecting some clunkiness if DP plays. He just has to have the ball so much I expect to see some ball watching until others figure out how to play around him.
-
Who was the guy that posted all the pictures and info of the team we were playing that day? I liked those
-
@kjayhawks2.0 It was @wrwlumpy . I'm not sure if he's still with us. He was def in my thoughts when I wanted to upgrade the board to get our image posting back.
-
Anyone know if DP is playing tonight? I get the impression he might go a few minutes... probably not more than a half. I don't think this is the right game to bring him back. Something easier.. less pressure. No worries that him going in really impacts a W or L.
-
I just received information that he is a no go tonight.
-
At this point I think it is best to just assume he is done for the year. That way we are prepared for it and if he does come back it will be a pleasant surprise.
-
Bill Self released a statement saying DP will not go tonight, he is still not a 100% and is considered day to day at this point. @jayhawk_69 I keep hearing he never plays another game here from multiple sources so at this point can we not pay him and just send him on his way? If he doesn’t comeback for conference play and be able to go it ends up being a complete waste of millions.

Absolute worst advice he could get would be to sit out this season. The 2026 draft is projected to be one kfnthe deepest in years and could one day be discussed at the same level of 1984, 1996, and 2003 drafts. Peterson voluntarily sitting out the season would potentially drop him from #1 to outside the top 10 costing him millions of dollars. I feel like this is more the staff and trainers being overly cautious and protective of Peterson because he's potentially the best player Bill Self has ever coached.
