I am sorry that you have had such negative experiences in your lifetime. If we had universal healthcare like any other 1st world country, then you would not be spending thousands of dollars on surgeries that have not gone right. You would see more providers that go into medicine for the right reasons as the specialists would not be paid as well as they currently are. There are more issues at play in biological machines that have free will to make decisions than inanimate structures. Even then, in individuals that have done all the right things, outcomes may still be poor based upon factors outside of a patient’s control. Unless a provider is a sociopath, it bothers them when there are poor outcomes.
I am glad that @farmerjayhawk had a positive experience receiving necessary care in a timely manner with a positive outcome. That is the best scenario for all involved and when healthcare works as intended.
I often wonder if healthcare is getting worse because my idealism is transforming to realism or whether I am becoming grouchier in my old age or whether healthcare is circling the toilet declining like much of our way of life.

It's a striking sunflower variety, with large flowers, 5 inches across, boasting a unique pattern of fiery red and gold petals surrounding a dark center. Ideal for adding bold contrast to gardens, it reaches maturity in about 70-80 days and is a magnet for pollinators. They grow in a raised bed in the corner of my garden.

I figured they ought to be playing hard to win that one. I wasn’t disappointed. Great game. And Embiid played well.

Eventually in later seasons he developed a little to do some stuff on ball but largely his production was crafted/gassed up by Bill. Kohl took the opposite arc where he started early then got sent to the shadow realm however. I'm not trying to disparage him though, it was just meant to dispel the CB comparison as they played differently.
This got me curious enough to just now look at KU comps only via Torvik. And well, knock me over with a feather
[image: kohl.png]
I hope he is a productive bench piece though, truly.

It's well done. I think CBS/Paramount picked these programs to follow based on their likelihood of making a deep run in march.
WRT KU, not a whole lot was new for me, but it was interesting to see some behind the scenes.
The documentary picked a player from each program to shadow and that was Darren P for KU and Yaxle L for Michigan. I felt there was striking contrast between these two players-- Yaxel allowed a great deal of transparency and access to his family, while Darren seemed guarded and less personable, with no reference to his family. There was also some interesting parallels / differences between Self and May. Worth a watch.
Last episode drops April 18. Will feature post-season, which should be a rollicking fun ride for Wolverine fans.

I say what I feel, what I observe. I take off the Crimson and Blue glasses and I don't drink the Crimson and Blue kool-aid.
Kansas is a program on the decline. That's not my opinion, that's a fact. Kansas men's basketball had not lost 11 games in a season since 1989! The past three years we've lost 11, 13 and 11. We have been bounced from the NCAA Tournament after the first or second games (against generally far inferior opponents) multiple timnes. That's right off the kuathletics.com website. Facts. Not opinions. So people can say I'm naysayer. Say that I'm negative. Say whatever they want to say. Have me banned. Chances are I'm just telling the truth and nobody wants to hear it.
