Rosario, 11 pts 2 boards. Ngala. 6 points Calderon? Never knew we had such a named guy. Council 4 points, 3 assists. Tiller 4, Bidunga 4. White 5 boards and 3 assists.
Defense holding them to 7-30 shooting. Only 12 boards for them, 25 us.
We don’t seem to miss Pattyson too much.

Hard to remember a time in the Self era when KU didn’t play coy about injuries.

Good to see the team put up some points and play strong defense missing their star. Not a strong opponent but still a good solid effort.

The team is far from surgical at this point. Often looks like 5 guys rather than a unit. Athleticism is there, so here’s hoping Self can coach them up and they keep their heads up going through the journey.

Im just happy to watch a team full of aggressive athletes. The magic may or may not happen but at least it CAN happen.

Trades would be fantastic. Would help balance things out. Image getting a hot ham sandwich for AJ Storr last year. Would’ve been a big upgrade.

Great night for northern lights even as far south as Chicago. I saw northern lights from the Campanile once while I was a KU student. That was amazing to see that night.

One inexplicable stat that doesn’t augur well for the future is that we have 16 TOs to their 10. For us to be successful against better competition, we have to be able to generate points off defense - putting pressure on the ball and clogging passing lanes and generating TOs. To only force 10 against this level of competition is disconcerting…
